The Caboolture Pet Expo is getting bigger and busier each year. Karen Cero, Margaret Croft, Lorraine Norrie and myself put quiet a busy day in with what can only be described as very productive. We promoted the Tenterfield Terrier as the latest breed of Australian dog. The Theme was the Road to Recognition. We had old photos from the early 1800's,  photos of scappy looking early Tenterfields working their way up to what they are today, with all their tropies and ribbons set up around their modern day photos taken as winners in Championship Shows. We are promoting their temperament and soundness as much as anything. They are extremely loyal and loving and with a single coat most people with sensitvities can handle these dogs. A lot of our breeders use them on their working farms to control vermin, but as soon as any children show up, they all run out for fun and games. The dogs on display were a big hit with young and old alike.

Next year will be even bigger and better at Caboolture as the organisers, Caboolture Council are hoping to extend it to a two show which will give more families a chance to come and join in the activites.

This was a great venue to promote our breed , the rural atmosphere inside the horse arena was a big hit with all the families that attended.
