Brisbane Pet Expo
March 2006
The Pet Expo went off really well, with an incredible amount of people coming through. It was much bigger than last year and the public showed a lot of interest in all breeds of dogs. I think with all the publicity on community awareness in purchasing a pet, more and more people are doing their research into what breed really suits their needs. We all agree, what better place to start then at the Pet Expo.
We would firstly like to thank the organisers and the CCCQ for inviting us to attend, they did a fantastic job in running the show and secondly all the Tenterfield Terriers breeders who gave up their time to come along with their dogs to make it the success it was. These included Dave and myself on the Thursday along with Julie Anderson did the 'setting up'. Karen Cero, Margaret Croft, Lorraine Norrie, Debbie Goodwin, Christine and John Bourke, Julie and myself all spent time over the next three days manning the stand. Needless to say we were all exhausted after this and most of us had no voice for a few days after the event. Thank you everyone.;
John Bourke has taken a few photos for us to look through, we hope you all enjoy them. The theme for our display this year was  "Our road to recognition". Julie Anderson put a lot of time in making this and on behalf of all the members
a big thank you!
Cheers,                       Mary Holt,   Secretary
